Hi, there!

It's weekend and I miss going to church since I'm working on Sundays. :'(

I just got to thinking today. How far am I knowing about the WORD of GOD?

Though I read the Holy Bible but I have to admit that I could not memorized all the Bible book names orderly, and I even had less than 5 memory-verses. (sob')

By the way, I was browsing the net today, and I found this video on my friend's FB wall.

After watching it, I suddenly remember the time when I was invited by a friend joining church' assembly before.

During the second part of the program, my friend smiled at me and handed me a folded paper.

"Answer this.", she whispered.

It was a Bible book names puzzles. The written paragraph is this:

Can you find sixteen (16) books of the Bible in this paragraph?

I once made a remark about the hidden books of the Bible (merely by a fluke). It kept people looking so hard for the facts and for others it was a revelation. Some were in a jam, especially since the name of the books were not capitalized, but the truth finally struck home to numbers of readers. To others it was a real job. We want it to be a most fascinating few moments for you. Yes, there will be some really easy ones to spot. Others may require judges to help them. I will quickly admit it usually takes a minister to find one of them, and there will be loud lamentations when it is found. A little lady says she brews a cup of tea so she can concentrate better. See how well you can compete. Relax now. There really are sixteen names of books in this story.

Well, I answered it in a minute. Then she handed me another one, and promise, I will post it next time. ^^

Who are the Samaritan's Purse?

Upon visiting their site: www.samaritanspurse.org this is what I learned.

The story of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:30-37) gives a clear picture of God's desire for us to help those in desperate need wherever we find them. After describing how the Samaritan rescued a hurting man whom others had passed by, Jesus told His hearers, "Go and do likewise."

For over 40 years, Samaritan's Purse has done our utmost to follow Christ's command by going to the aid of the world's poor, sick, and suffering. We are an effective means of reaching hurting people in countries around the world with food, medicine, and other assistance in the Name of Jesus Christ. This, in turn, earns us a hearing for the Gospel, the Good News of eternal life through Jesus Christ.

Our emergency relief programs provide desperately needed assistance to victims of natural disaster, war, disease, and famine. As we offer food, water, and temporary shelter, we meet critical needs and give people a chance to rebuild their lives.

Our community development and vocational programs in impoverished villages and neighborhoods help people break the cycle of poverty and give them hope for a better tomorrow.

We impact the lives of vulnerable children through educational, feeding, clothing, and shelter programs that let them know they are not forgotten.

And the Operation Christmas Child Gifts reached the children of GOD at Amazing Grace Baptist Church of Mambago-B, Villarica, Babak, Island Garden City of Samal, Philippines.

"Amazing Grace Baptist Church of Mambago-B is a small local church located in the hilly part of the Island of Samal, Philippines. Around 30 children were living here in an old-fashioned way.Without television or even radios. They go to school sometimes wearing only slippers. That's why after Samaritan's Purse visited Samal Island, we are so happy and thankful to God because of the brothers and sisters around the globe who have the heart to the children and share their gifts to them.All the children benefited the blessings, first, through God's Message of Love they hear and second, of course, by receiving the Shoe Boxes (with School Supplies inside, others receive slippers and shoes, toothbrushes and toothpastes, and a lot of toys too) that made them so happy."
